California uses the Official Medical Fee Schedule (OMFS), an RVU-based schedule administered by the Division of Workers’ Compensation. The physician services section is aligned with the Medicare Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS) with California-specific conversion factors and ground rules. Separate schedules cover hospital outpatient, inpatient, ASC, DME, pathology, and pharmacy.
