Avoid loud noise for 14 hours before your test — no concerts, power tools, or loud machinery.

Respirator Medical Clearance Exams (including SCBA)

Must be clean-shaven in the respirator seal area. No food, drink, or gum 30 minutes before.

30–60 minutes

Fast for 8–12 hours if blood work is included. Bring CDL, glasses/contacts, and CPAP data if applicable.
